As the business improvement district, we work every day on behalf of local businesses to make Hastings a better and safer place.
A SAFER HASTINGS
Love Hastings runs ‘Business Watch’, incorporating ShopWatch and BarWatch for the daytime and night time economies. We are nationally accredited and work closely with the council and the police to keep Hastings safe for businesses and visitors alike.
THE PUBLIC REALM
From Christmas lights and planting schemes to supporting public art projects and trying to get the councils to repair roads and remove graffiti, we care about the look and feel of the town centre and doour best to make it as welcoming and inviting as possible.
EVENTS SUPPORT
The Business Improvement District puts money and time into many annual and one-off events each year – all of which bring vibrancy and colour to the town – as well as attracting thousands of extra visitors.
SUPPORTING BUSINESSES
From free or subsidised training sessions through to lobbying for funding during the COVID crisis – or simply making the town look great with Christmas lights, flowers, and freshly painted railings, the BID is on the side of local businesses.
