SHADES Theatre Company, now in its 35th year as a local amateur Christian Theatre Company producing quality Christian drama in Hastings, is pleased to return to the White Rock Studio, after almost 10 years, with an interactive comedy murder mystery, Just Desserts, written by Craig Sodaro.

A charity bake-off is held and the final three contestants have submitted their bakes. In the middle of tasting by the judge and contestants, one of them falls dead and it is up to the contest organiser to determine the murder with the help of the audience. The audience is encouraged to question the suspects and solve the hidden clues! Who is murdered? How? Who is the murderer? What is the motive? When is window of opportunity? Don’t miss this fun-packed comedy of intrigue, murder and detection. If you knew who the murderer was in Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap, don’t think you can solve this whodunnit as easily!

As a reward for coming, if not for guessing who the murderer is, desserts are offered to each member of the audience to sample after the show… if they dare!
