The Hastings Reggae Festival 2019 🌴

Hosting a mammoth 4,000 capacity event on the Pier head this July, Hastings Reggae Festival will welcome an eclectic selection of the genre’s finest talent for what promises to prove a huge day of celebration across the beachside location.

Taking place on Saturday 27th July, the family friendly event will include 2 stages of Reggae, Dancehall, Dub & Jungle music, as well as a simply irresistible selection of mouth-watering reggae food provided by market vendors from near and far.

With sound provided by Reggae Roast’s FULL Sound System, and a specially crafted children’s entertainment zone (including kids reggae disco, inflatables, rides & more!), Hastings Reggae Festival is sure to welcome a wide selection of guests to the sun-soaked location, with festivities running all the way from 12pm through to 11pm at night.

Led by the talents of British-born singer/songwriter Adele Harley – whose love of reggae music developed through her teenage years – the line-up for the beach-based event will also include performances from iconic soul & reggae group Aswad, who will deliver a dynamic live show to the people of Hastings. With fast-rising Bristolian Gardna and legendary ragga MC General Levy joining the all-star ensemble, Jamaican innovator Lee ‘Scratch Perry’ will also deliver his Caribbean tones to the Sussex shores with an eagerly anticipated live show.

Rounding off the billing with a performance from West London MC Solo Banton, and a full live show from Trojan Sound System – the legendary collective of selecta (Daddy Ad) and vocalists who recently performed at iconic London venue Alexandra Palace – support on the day will be provided by DJ Rankin, with a very special guest still to be announced this June!

Paving the way for the most incredible party this summer, the final batch of third release tickets can be snapped up here, with demand for Hastings Reggae Festival already proving insatiable ahead of this July’s sizzling summer scorcher on the pier.
