San Diego’s Sara Petite returns to the UK to promote the release of her brand new album The Empress.
Described as ‘the benchmark for what Americana music should be about in the 21st century’, Sara has released six albums to date with her last, Rare Bird, winning rave reviews from critics.

She also won three top awards at the recent San Diego Music Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Country/Americana Artist.
Sara has toured the UK and Europe several times – including opening for Marty Stuart at major UK venues – played many festivals and received a huge amount of airplay.
On this tour, she’s accompanied by her regular UK band, featuring AMAUK award-nominated guitarist Joe Coombs (Yola, Robert Vincent, Jaime Wyatt), drummer Jamie Dawson (Dreaming Spires, Speedbuggy) and double/electric bassist Scott Warman (Annie Keating, Alice Wallace).
Sara plays the Jenny Lind in Hastings on Sunday 9 July at 4pm.
