Marcus Clayton, ESC alumni and winner of the UK finals of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition, returned to the College’s Hastings campus in March to talk to students about his journey from student to award-winning chef and host an exclusive pop-up dining experience!
Coast Restaurant Manager, Jakki Pransky, said, “This pop-up evening was a wonderful opportunity for our current students to see firsthand what they can achieve after they leave our course. Marcus studied at the College only a few years ago and with the passion and knowledge gained here, he has carved a path for himself within the industry. Marcus was more than happy to come back to the College for the pop-up and was quite excited when I approached him with the idea. The event proved to be a fantastic experience for our students.”
