Last month the Mayor Cllr James Bacon and his wife Sarah Bacon organised a New Year Photo Competition with the theme Hope and Hastings.
Out of these entries they selected James White’s George Street photo.
James White said, ‘Walking through George Street, I was, in a way, quite literally able to reflect on the past year in contrast to Christmas 2020. Hope is tangible and visible in the atmosphere of the Old Town. The lights of Hastings are glowing much brighter this year, and so are we, the people of Hastings.’
The Mayor and his wife would like to thank all of the wonderful entries which they loved looking at. The standard was incredibly high from the talented people of Hastings and St Leonards.
