ACT ANNOUNCEMENT!
In the Kabarett Klub, we’ll have a right bunch of Charlies… first up, Charlie Austen a dynamic one woman band playing original songs on the folk-soul-rock spectrum, making her Hastings Pride debut. Expect foot-stomping grooves, carefully crafted lyrics, intricate guitar parts and dynamic vocals in an airy-yet-powerful, blues-infused vocal style.
Charlie has toured extensively in the UK, Europe and beyond, both in her own right, supporting high-profile artists, and as a vocalist for cult blues band Nine Below Zero. She is thrilled to be playing a pride event for the first time in her beloved hometown. And we can’t wait to hear her!
And as if that weren’t Charlie enough, we’ve got the amazing Charlie House- Musician who played at the very first ever Hastings Pride- a tiny event by today’s standards, held in the town centre in 2016. She’s making her triumphant return to bring you more of her soulful, charismatic songwriting. We are so thrilled to have her back!
