towards the Old Town, that’s eastwards away from the pier. The procession ends at the Stade Open Space at about 12.30

Hearding cats is somewhat easier than organising a whole mass of pirates into a semblance of order. Here’s how we would like you to form up, I will be attempting to assist in this monumental task.

The Vanguard. Some very loudmouthed pirates.
The Organisers, or the poor sods who put all this together.
Section 5 Drummers. Another loud local group.
Some Pirates. That’s you lot.
A Giant. One of three we hope.

Pirates and so on, until right at the back, on a trolley Bus, Happy Harold, will be Pan Up.

The drum groups are savvy enough to space themselves along the length of the prade. The rest 0f you non drumming pirates, fill in the spaces between. Easy Huh? Let’s see? I’m confident everything will be fine.
