Two 1st place awards for Turtle Bay Paddleboards at the 26km Paddle Skedaddle Endurance Race πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸ’―

The 15th May saw the first Paddle Skedaddle event and the first major UK race of the 2021. The 26km flat water event followed a path along the Norfolk Broads, amongst beautiful scenery. But the course proved to be quite the challenge with strong headwinds and busy boating routes for much of the duration.

Huge congratulations to Guy Newman who was the only person managing to complete the challenging course on an All-Round board, the Turtle Bay Halulu 10’6.

A huge well done to Alzi Newman who competed in her first ever race, and finishing a personal best of 15km. A mighty achievement given the tough conditions. Alzi was paddling the Turtle Bay R-14.

Team founder Graeme Williams, came home in 1st place in the 14′ inflatable class. The Turtle Bay R-14 completed the course in 3hrs 47 minutes to take the win.

A superb, well organised event with great hosts, brilliant atmosphere and facilities.
