Tackling flyposting

The love Hastings team are looking for ideas and suggestions to cut down on flyposting in the town.

The business ambassador has been spending increasing amounts of time removing unsightly posters that have been taped to lamp columns and vacant shops, but, at the same time, we understand that local businesses need to advertise and promote their events and offers.

We have considered digital advertising columns or old-fashioned community notice boards, but these ideas have been rejected due to a view that they constitute unnecessary street clutter.

We are therefore after ideas from businesses in the area that would enable adverts to be displayed in some acceptable fashion without the introduction of any new boards or display panels.
