Love Hastings supports Hastings Bonfire 2019

Love Hastings is proud to support Hastings Bonfire for 2019. 

Hastings Bonfire is one of the biggest events in the Hastings calendar, drawing in tens of thousands of people to our town centre. The spectacular event is entirely volunteer-run and fundraising takes place throughout the year to fund the event. Unfortunately the Society saw a significant rise in the cost of insurance, and, recognising the value to the town centre and evening economy, we made the decision to help cover the cost of this for 2019.

The event is taking place on Saturday 19th October, starting at the White Rock Hotel, and finishing on the beach by Pelham Place car park.  There will be road closures in place, which will be announced nearer the time on the Hastings Borough Council website.

If you want to get involved in the organising of Hastings Bonfire, you can join the Society for a small membership fee (which insures you to take part in the event and other Sussex bonfire events).  New members are always welcome, and the Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month, 8pm at the White Rock Hotel.
