Priory Meadow gets behind the Hospice duck art trail
Priory Meadow Shopping Centre has joined the flock to sponsor a duck as part of Follow That Duck, a live art trail taking place in Summer 2022 from Hastings Old Town to Bexhill On Sea. Brought to Hastings by St Michael’s Hospice and Wild in Art.
Priory Meadow Centre Manager, Andy Harvey, said ‘We would have been quackers not to sponsor this fantastic initiative. Not only will this fun, free event be great for all the people taking part over summer 2022, but it also raises vital awareness and funds for St Michaels Hospice, a hospice very close to the community of Hastings’ heart.’
Priory Meadow will be choosing the design of their duck from a bank of artwork submitted by local artists.
The Priory Meadow duck will then feature on the live art trail from a currently secret location, from 24th June to 4th September 2022.
The Hastings shopping centre will also be home to one of the ducks for the summer, so shoppers and trail-goers can head down to Priory Meadow to have a gander at the yet-to-be-named duck, and get that all important duck selfie.
